Professional portrait photographer, Darrell Pierson, will demonstrate how he establishes rapport, communicates and directs a “model”.

In this class you’ll learn how to pose and direct a “model” for professional looking photo portraits or for your artistic reference material for those of you who are painters or sculptures. You’ll learn how to use natural and artificial lighting to your best advantage.  You’ll pratice the art of seeing light and shadow, how to maximize shadows for drama or minimize shadows for a softer look. Lens selection and camera settings will also be covered.
