We will explore 3 major types of vanishing points that will lend the artist a more realistic and precise representation of distance and scale in their art. In conjunction with vanishing points there will be an in depth exploration and demonstration of reflective light. Emphasizing shapes, cast shadow, reflective light, core shadow, shadow, highlight and how they define landscape texture.
A – Single vanishing point
B – Double vanishing points
C – Triple vanishing points
D – Shapes and shadows: the process of cast shadow defining landscape shapes and forms.

Supplies:
Working pencil, eraser, a strait edge at least 12″ long, papers 5 to 10 sheets – anything larger than 8 1/2″ x 11″ to be used for drawing notes. (newsprint, printer paper, or ???)
