AAG hosts a multitude of workshops every year.  Artists are selected for the innovtive approach, mastery of skill and overall experience they bring to the classroom.  Workshops are continually being added.  Be sure to check back regularly and sign up early as classes fill up!

In this workshop you’ll complete a background of techniques and movements while maintaining your cohesive overall design.

Landscape Painting in
Oil or Acrylic
with Edward Sprafkin

September 7, 2024  9am to 3pm  
Students will learn the principles needed to create depth-filled atmospheric landscape paintings using either oil or acrylic paints.

Intuitive Painting with Stan Kurth

Saturday, October 5th
10am to 2pm

This workshop is designed to teach intuitive painting with watercolor and gouache.

This one-day workshop is perfect for those new to quick-pose gesture drawing or those who want to improve their essential skills.

Students will work from their photo references while learning to capture a character’s likeness.
