From beginner to advanced, John shares tips and techniques to improve your watercolor paintings. Each workshop will focus on a different theme with subjects provided by the instructor.
Recommended Supplies:
Please purchase paint from tubes. Suggested colors:
Cadmium red
Cadmium Yellow
Ultramarine blue
Cobalt Blue
Alizarin Crimson
Sap green
Yellow ochre

Brushes:
Synthetic brushes are fine.
You need a # 6 and #10 round watercolor brush
You need a one (1)inch flat watercolor brush

Palette:
You may wish to purchase a plastic palette. (approx.. 16 X 12inches)
This will hold your paint and give you an area to mix your paints.

Additional Materials:
A #2 pencil and a white eraser
A small spritzer bottle
Paper towels
2 water containers-any plastic containers will do.
A support for your paper that is waterproof. (examples; A piece of plexiglass,
Gatorboard, or a piece of plywood that has been coated.) Your support should be at least 15in X 12in.
A small sketchbook. Maybe 9 X 12in.
Masking tape to hold your paper down
