Making Waves with Ann Osgood
Saturday, June 28, 2025 | 10am to 2pm

Growing up in Southern California and graduating from University of Hawaii made the beach a familiar and favorite subject for me. I will demonstrate and coach you through my process of painting waves. This class will be useful for all levels of painters.

I will have an image to work from, but you may bring a good ocean photo if you wish.

Ann Osgood was raised in Southern California and left to finish a BFA in Drawing and Painting at the University of Hawaii. A bit after graduating Ann moved to the base of the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. The desert immediately cast a spell and she has lived here since then. Ann opened The Upstairs Gallery in Apache Junction and taught for Central Arizona College. Eventually she moved to Deer Valley and taught in the public schools for many years. Now she is a full-time painter who enjoys working in a variety of styles.

Ann was the Phoenix Magazine Artist of the Month of January 2017.
