Textural Mixed-Media Collage Landscapes by Sherry L. Kimmel

Using a variety of collage papers, paint and mediums to make textural landscapes is one of my favorite artistic endeavors. In this class we will explore landscapes using handmade, textured and printed collage papers. We will add dimension with watercolor or acrylic paints. You can choose to do either an abstract or realistic design or both. Come join me for a fun filled day in exploring the “Art of Collage”!

Sherry has lived in Arizona since 1979 and she loves her desert home. In 2004 after attending art classes at Glendale Community College, she joined the Arizona Watercolor Association and began entering exhibitions on a local, regional and national level. Sherry is a member of the Arizona Watercolor Association and the Contemporary Watercolorists of Arizona. She is also a Signature Member of both
organizations. Sherry is also a new member of the Arizona Artists Guild. Since 2012, Sherry has been exploring mixed media, mono printing, and collage. She has been teaching classes on these subjects at Arizona Art Supply, and other Art Clubs around the Valley. She looks forward to teaching Textural Mixed Media Landscape Collage at the Arizona Artists Guild.
