Painted Rocks with Susan Holt

Painted rocks are fun and easy for all skill levels. Create a bunch and join one of the many groups that leave them as public art or take one/leave one groups.
In this workshop participants will use gesso as a base, then acrylic paint on natural river rocks to create beautiful designs. Students may purchase 3 river rocks from Susan before class for $5 cash. Please note you would like to purchase rocks in your registration, so she knows how many rocks to bring.
Supply List:
3 smooth (not polished) rocks, river rocks are best – flat is better for those new to painting on non-traditional surfaces
Acrylic paint – Black, White, any other colors you want to use
White Gesso (for acrylic paint)
Brushes or Dot Mandala Tools
Old Toothbrush
Plastic Palette
Paper Towels
Water Container
Patterns or Inspiration Pics (Instructor will have some also)
