Would you like to improve on your current draws while improving your style? Let’s discover how to use different methods, processes, thoughts and techniques in drawing the figure with charcoals and pencil.
Accurate structures, and shapes to build values will be emphasized. We will build drawings learning what to show and not, edge control, light direction, value, composition & understanding of proportion, yet not married to them.
Utilizing vine charcoal, we will go from demo to a student practicing gestures moving into a long pose Students can work to build value and detail. Amber will encourage students’ natural style and goals within the parameters of proportions, light and shadow.
