Many people have difficulty creating clouds or snow. We will be contemplating and considering the magic of the many colors and values in clouds or snow. So, let’s play, hands on, to create clouds and snow that we are happy with.
James will demonstrate, with pastels, his process for creating glowing colors and contrasts in clouds or snow.
Material suggested:
Small sketchbook and pencils
A stick of willow charcoal
Pictures of clouds you like
A set of soft or hard pastels
9 x 12” white or light colored pastel paper, sanded or with tooth
