Raku Pottery Firing with  David L. Bradley
Experience the magic of Raku! Select a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece made by David L. Bradley and watch it magically transform through the mysterious and elusive Raku firing.

Raku: Master Potter, David L. Bradley has created one of a kind ceramic pottery forms.  Once you select your piece, it is placed into a hot kiln, heated to over 1000 degrees, removed and cooled.  It is magical to observe.  No two are ever alike. Upon cooling, the pieces are coated with a protective wax and will be ready to take home that evening.

Blown Glass Ornaments with TJ Marco of Phoenix Arts by Fire

Registration is closed for this event.  Space is still open for Raku.

Experience first hand the art of glass blowing at AAG!
Guided by master glass artists you will make your own multi-colored glass ornament.  Expert glass blower TJ Marco will have a full glass blowing studio set up on premises to assist you in making a beautiful one of a kind blown glass ornament.  Due to the nature of glassblowing, and the heat necessary, this premium event is restricted to people 15 years and above.

Once your piece is made, it will be annealed (gradually cooled) overnight.  You can pick up the finished work at AAG during designated times or make other arrangements.

Each glass ornament takes approximately 15 minutes to create.  Space for glass blowing is limited.  Be sure to sign up early if you are interested in this event.

For your safety:
-Please tie-back long hair
-Closed toed shoes are recommended
-Loose clothing will need to be secured
