AAG 2022-2023 Exhibitions

This year AAG will host three Exhibitions: The Winter Exhibition, Figuratively Speaking and The 12th Annual Statewide Exhibition.

The AAG Figuratively Speaking Exhibition is in honor of AAG’s president, Tom Mura who is a
proponent of figurative art and traditional life drawing open studios. Figuratively Speaking is open to all
members of Arizona Artists Guild.
The figure is a prominent source of inspiration for artists since the beginning of time. Whether realistic or
abstract, classic or contemporary, artwork will be considered for its creativity, expression and overall quality.

Important Dates
Exhibition Dates: April 16-May 16, 2023
Entry Dates: through March 26, 2023 | midnight
Notification of accepted/non-accepted work to artist: Monday, April 3, 2023
Drop Off Accepted Art Work:
Monday, April 10, 2023 | 8:00-12:00 during open studio
Wednesday, April 12, 2023| 10-11:00 am. Other hours by appointment, However, the show will be
installed immediately following – all art must be received by 11:00 April 12, 2023.
Opening Reception and Award Ceremony: Sunday, April 16, 2023| 2:00-4:00 PM
Pick up artwork:
Tuesday, May 16, 2023 | immediately following the May General Meeting
Monday, May 22, 2023 | 8:00-12:00 during open studio
Wednesday, May 24, 2023| 1:00-4:00 during open studio
other times by appointment

I have read and understand the entire contents of this Call for Entries and though every effort will be made to protect submitted  works of art, I understand that the Arizona Artists Guild cannot be responsible for damaged or loss to either the artwork or any  framing. I hereby declare that these submitted pieces have not been accepted in any previous AAG exhibition, and have been  completed in the last two years.
