Founded in 1928, the Arizona Artists Guild is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization led by volunteers dedicated to providing and promoting opportunities in the visual arts including exhibitions, educational and outreach programs.

Membership is made up of professional as well as aspiring artists working in a variety of media. The Guild offers four types of membership: associate, juried, honorary and life.

Join us at our open meetings held on the third Tuesday of each month, September through April. A pre-meeting social hour begins at 5:00 PM (feel free to bring a brown bag dinner) with a critique session beginning at 6:00 PM followed by the general meeting including a program featuring a guest artist at 7:00 PM. The AAG Building is conveniently located at 18411 N. 7th Ave. in Phoenix, AZ 85023 (1/2 block south of Union Hills Drive on the east side of 7th Ave.).

  • Promoting quality artwork for public viewing and appreciation

  • Sponsoring classes through The Guild School of Art
  • Teaching classes to people with disabilities
  • Providing after school art enrichment experiences
  • Offering critique sessions to improve skills

  • Supplying judges for local, state and national art exhibits
  • Providing a voice for civic matters relating to the arts
  • Availing a meeting space for other community arts organizations
  • Continuing a long-standing tradition of art leadership in the state since 1928
  • Maintaining a cadre of instructors for schools and community
